My name is Angela Fish, and I am the mother of 2 boys on the autism spectrum.  They were both diagnosed in 2007 with PDD-NOS and sensory processing disorder and are currently age 5.5 and 3.  We participate in speech, occupational, physical and feeding therapy and we follow an allergy-free diet (no gluten, casein, soy, egg, etc., etc.).  I have been educating myself non-stop about autism, nutrition, therapies, etc., and know this will be an on-going process.

In addition to founding "SPECIAL Families of Pierce County,"
I participate in several local parent groups in the south sound and enjoy learning and sharing with other affected families.  If you would like information about SPECIAL Families of Pierce County, send an email to specialfamiliespc@gmail.com.  We meet the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm at the Acorn Pantry Outlet in Spanaway.  I am proud to announce our official affiliation with EFN and know it will be a great partnership.  Our group exists to support families of children with special needs, and we strive to learn from one another and experts, network, better advocate for our children, and strengthen our community.  Many of our families are dealing with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, and other diagnoses.

I consider myself a stay-at-home mom, but I find time to remain active in the mortgage industry as a licensed Loan Originator.  I work for Absolute Financial Services, LLC in Puyallup, which is a small mortgage brokerage “where customers are valued clients and not just a number.”  I also enjoy consulting with families for household budgeting and with business owners for writing their business plan.  It would be a privilege to help other families in the Exceptional Families Network with their mortgage, household budgeting, or business planning needs.

Please visit www.AbsoluteFinancialSvc.com to learn more about mortgages and how I may help you.  Give me a call at 253-830-4368 and if you mention my EFN member page, I will give a $250 discount on closing costs.

Autism has been a crazy ride so far, and although it's been bumpy, I look forward to a bright future.  I would love to share experiences with other affected families as we journey down the "Exceptional" road together!

All the best to everyone,

Angela
