Welcome to our Washington State regional meetings calendar!  Our affiliate, SPECIAL Families of Pierce County, currently meets in the Spanaway/Parkland area of Tacoma once a month on the first Monday evening, unless postponed due to a holiday.  You don't have to live in Pierce County to attend these meetings - all are welcome!  If you wish to start a group locally please contact us at info@wyattshouse.org

Who should attend?
Parents, Caregivers and Therapists who wish to help children and adults challenged with:
-ADD/ADHD
-dyslexia
-developmental delay
-sleep difficulties
-bedwetting
-autism
-sensory processing disorder
-test anxiety
-handwriting difficulties
-stress and overwhelm
-trauma release/PTSD

We will learn:
-Skills for integrating key childhood reflexes - reflexes are the building blocks of our nervous system and the foundation for sensory-motor integration and learning skills.
-Skills for releasing stress and trauma.
-How integrating the neuro/sensory/motor systems develops our abilities to get along with others, learn effectively and meet challenges with greater ease and enjoyment.
-Movements that increase focus, relaxation, concentration, coordination, organization, communication and confidence.

Neurodevelopmental Movements energize and integrate the body, brain and emotions for optimal effectiveness.
-Improve focus, attention and learning.
-Facilitate reading, writing and math skills.
-Build stamina and coordination.
-Release stress.
-Boost self-confidence and social skills.
-Integrate the neuro-sensory-motor system, the foundation of learning and sensory integration.

Parents using Neurodevelopmental Movements with children report improvements in attitude, attention, cooperation, behavior, posture, stamina and academic performance.
