"Sensory Regulation and the Value of Play”
SPECIAL Families of Pierce County is pleased to welcome Marti Cates and Lori Carter from A Step Ahead of Pierce County as our expert speakers for July’s meeting on Monday the 13th at 6:30pm. (The meeting moved to the 13th due to the previous week’s holiday.) Ms. Cates and Ms. Carter will discuss how parents can assist their children in sensory regulation and give us some tips on how we can provide appropriate play opportunities for our children over the summer break.
SPECIAL Families of Pierce County is a support group for families with special needs children in the south Sound region. Professionals and other interested parties are also encouraged to attend. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month, unless otherwise noted. Selected lending library resources are available at each meeting. Childcare will not be provided.
Location: Pierce County Library Processing and Administration Center Conference Room B 3005 112th St E Tacoma WA 98446 (at the intersection of 112th St E and Waller Rd E, near the Portland Ave exit off of Hwy 512)
